About
Two founders in Bengaluru, building a watchman for cameras nobody watches.
Satarq is an independent venture based in Bengaluru, India. It was founded in 2026 by L Mohit Jain and Tanush Deepak, and it makes AI video analytics that runs on a box inside the customer's own building.

I study computer science (AI and ML) at RVCE in Bengaluru, and I'm one of the two people behind Satarq. It started at a hackathon: Tanush and I built a multi-camera security system in 24 hours, won, and then couldn't leave it alone.
I have never managed to stay in one layer of a project. I've written firmware for ESP32 boards, built phone apps in React Native, trained models, and 3D-printed the cases to put it all in. One hardware idea went as far as a filed patent. At Satarq that habit earns its keep: I build the part that looks at the video, the rules that decide what is worth a guard's attention, and the software that keeps it all running on one box inside a building.
Tanush and I have been building together for a while. PostmortemEnv, an environment we made for training AI agents, finished in the top 15 of about 72,000 entries at the Meta and PyTorch hackathon, and we once built a trading agent whose first rule was that it must not blow up its own account. Satarq is the one we stopped treating as a side project.
I started it because I kept seeing cameras on walls and nobody with the time to watch them. The thing I care about most is being straight about what works: before each experiment I write down the result it has to reach, and if it misses, the feature stays switched off. Plenty have missed, which is why this site says "in trial" beside some features.
Away from Satarq I follow F1, read more machine learning papers than I strictly need to, and am rarely found without music on.

I'm a CS student majoring in Cloud Computing who can't stop building things.
When I'm not coding, I'm usually watching sport. F1 is my favourite, partly for the racing and partly for all the strategy behind it. Football and tennis are close behind, and honestly, I'll watch almost anything competitive. I'm also into finance and like figuring out how money and markets actually work.
I've run a marathon, and somewhere during the training I fell for long distance running. It's the one place where you can't shortcut anything. That's pretty much how I approach everything I care about. If I'm into something, I'm properly into it, and once I start, I don't quit. I'm always trying to be a little better than I was last month.
Say hello.
