Questions
Asked and answered.
The things people ask us most about Satarq, in plain words. Anything else, write to us.
What is Satarq?
Satarq is AI video analytics for existing CCTV cameras. It runs on a box inside the customer's own building, watches every camera, and alerts a guard when something needs a look. No footage leaves the site.
Does Satarq work with the cameras I already have?
Yes. Satarq connects over your network to the cameras and the recorder (NVR or DVR) already installed. Nothing on the walls is replaced.
Does my video go to the cloud?
No. Video is analysed and stored on one box on your own network and never leaves the building, and there is no per-camera cloud bill. An alert tells a guard where to look; the evidence stays on your own machine.
What does Satarq look for?
Working today: people in closed areas or on site after hours, covered or offline cameras, a decision trail of every alert, and plain-language questions answered from the site's own log. In trial: unattended bags, fights and falls.
Does Satarq use face recognition?
No. Nobody is identified by face, and footage is deleted on a schedule the site sets.
Who is Satarq for?
Places that have CCTV and too few people to watch it: clinics and hospitals, schools, colleges, offices, hostels and PGs. Satarq is starting with sites in and around Bengaluru.
Who founded Satarq, and where is it based?
Satarq was founded in 2026 by L Mohit Jain and Tanush Deepak. It is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
Is Satarq a registered company?
Not yet. Satarq is an independent venture and registration of the firm is in progress.
Is Satarq connected with Satarq Solutions in Pune, or any company with a similar name?
No. Satarq (satarq.com) is independent, is based in Bengaluru, has no office in Pune, and is not connected with any other company of a similar name.
Can I try Satarq?
Yes. Satarq is in development and has been tested on real footage at its first site, a clinic in Bengaluru. Pilots are open: write to lmohitjain@satarq.com.
